Journalism An Essential Resource

MAP'S MISSION
The mission of the Missouri Association of Publications (MAP), in affiliation with the Missouri School of Journalism, is to promote excellence in publications by serving as an essential resource to its membership for continuing education, professional growth and development and networking opportunities.

ABOUT MAP
MAP was founded in 2004 by a group of publications professionals with an interest in quality print and electronic publications. MAP serves as a professional organization for individuals, corporations (profit and not-for-profit), industry associates and for journalism faculty and students.

The group provides continuing education opportunities for its members such as seminars, workshops and roundtables where members may share expertise and resources and network with one another. These opportunities are facilitated by MAP members, industry experts and Missouri School of Journalism faculty.

MAP is governed by a board of directors who are voting members of the association and who represent a cross section of the publications industry in Missouri. MAP includes consumer, business-to-business, association, corporate, hospital, university, literary, fraternity/sorority and other appropriate publications.
